Calabascio

The idea of the Calabascio was borne starting from a trip through places and food specialities typical of mediterranean regions. Freshness, smells and cultures mix in our cousin so that old traditions live again. In the pursuit of the tradition and the taste of the good we carry on in our project: the CALABASCIO restaurant. We want you to savour a bit of the trip we are doing through our dishes.

  • We ate here for our anniversary in April 2015. The food was excellent and well priced. We had an organic Primitivo wine to compliment it which was delicious. The service was friendly with a family-run feel to it, and the location easy to get to and in a good area. Would definitely eat here again when in Rome!

  • Friends and I were walking to find a relaxing restaurant to have dinner before retiring after a long day of touring. We stumbled across Calabascio and were warmly greeted. Two of us had a ravioli stuffed with pork cream and cheese. Wonderful! Had a little bit of a kick to it and nothing like I've ever had in the States....
